For their brand-new location in Oosterhout, Terlouw Autogroep wanted space not only for cars, but also for vision. As a progressive dealer of Land Rover and Jaguar, among others, they consciously chose a representative, sustainable and future-oriented building.

Future-proof building when the net is locked.

When building their new premises in Oosterhout, Terlouw Autogroep wanted sustainability not as an addition, but as a starting point. Generating their own energy, gas-free heating, electric charging points and no dependence on the overloaded power grid. That was the plan, but with feed-in restrictions and peak consumption as risks, the challenge was great. Together with DuurzaamXL, they found a smart solution that perfectly combines technology, comfort and appearance.

The power of one integrated solution

Together with Terlouw Autogroep, we investigated how their new premises in Oosterhout could be made as sustainable and future-proof as possible. Based on an energy scan and consumption analysis, we drew up a smart total solution consisting of:
  • Solar panels for in-house renewable energy generation
  • Smart charging points for customers and own fleet
  • A gas-free air-conditioning system for heating and cooling
  • Tailored energy management, limiting peak consumption and preventing feed-in
