Flexrooms provides high-quality accommodation for international employees, with quality, living comfort and reliability as core values. However, for one of their locations in Beek, they ran into a technical obstacle: they were not allowed to feed power back to the grid. At the same time, reinforcing the grid connection was not an option.

The solution

Solar panels and battery storage

Together with Flexrooms, we set out to find a sustainable and future-proof solution. Using quarterly data, we mapped exactly when and how much power was needed. Based on that, we recommended a combination.

The batteries store the surplus to be deployed immediately at peak times, when demand is highest. This allows Flexrooms to control energy consumption without depending on the grid.
